New Features

Notes

The new Notes feature provides a private, persistent workspace within Kapost, allowing users to capture ideas, organize information, and manage personal tasks without leaving their current workflow. With support for multiple books and pages, users can maintain structured notes, draft content, and keep important information readily accessible across sessions and instances. It can be accessed by clicking the notes icon on the top navigation panel.

Key benefits are:

  • Reduce context switching by keeping note-taking within Kapost.

  • Capture ideas, meeting notes, and content drafts as you work.

  • Organize information into books and pages for easy navigation.

  • Track personal action items using built-in checklists.

  • Quickly locate information with global search and automatic saving.

  • Built-in checklists for managing personal tasks.

Archiving Content Types

Administrators can now archive content types that are no longer needed for active use while preserving their configurations for historical reference by clicking the icon. This helps maintain a clean and well-governed content model, prevents obsolete content types from being used for new content, and simplifies administration without permanently deleting existing configurations.

Users will benefit from:

  • Reduce clutter within Content Type administration.

  • Prevent outdated content types from being used for new content creation.

  • Preserve historical configurations without permanent deletion.

  • Simplify the content creation experience by exposing only relevant content types.

  • Archive content types directly from the Content Types and Workflow settings.

  • View archived content types using a dedicated Archived Content Types filter.

  • Restore archived content types at any time using the unarchive option.

Minor Enhancements

Custom Fields: Display Rich Text Description in Studio

Custom Field descriptions in Studio now display with the same formatting configured by admins, making guidance easier to read and follow. If a custom field includes an icon next to it, users can click the icon to view the field description.

Any links included in a field description are now clickable and open in a new browser tab, providing quick access to supporting resources without interrupting the user's workflow.

Note: This enhancement applies to the Content, Idea, and Initiative details pages, as well as the catalog preview.

To learn more, refer to Custom Fields On Content, Initiatives, and Ideas.

Custom Reports: Add Gallery Filter

Custom Reports now include an Included in Gallery filter, making it easier to identify and manage content based on whether it has been added to the Gallery. This enhancement streamlines content review and management by enabling users to quickly filter content based on Gallery inclusion.

Select Yes to display content that is included in the Gallery, or No to display content that has not been added. If no option is selected, all content is displayed regardless of its Gallery status.

To learn more, refer to Custom Reports.

Bundles: Ability to Add Logo

Users can now add a logo to bundles to create a more branded and consistent experience for both sales and internal teams. Bundle logos are visible to both licensed and non-licensed users, helping reinforce brand identity for everyone who accesses the bundle. The logo is displayed on the bundle page and in the Notes pop-up.

Note: Supported file formats include JPG, JPEG, PNG, and GIF, with a maximum file size of 1 MB.
